BRIAN W. BURGE, LEGAL COUNSEL

Brian joined MeyerJensen, PC, in 2019 and brings with him over 20 years of experience in the area of personal injury litigation. Brian was chief litigation paralegal at a large plaintiff law firm for many years and has gained invaluable combined legal and practical experience with an array of different types of injury cases, including auto and truck collisions, slip and fall, medical and nursing home negligence, product liability, FELA (railroad) and Jones Act (river) cases, among others. Having also spent time in the corporate world, he understands firsthand how companies and organizations of all kinds, big and small alike, have an inherent tendency to consider their bottom line at the expense of justice and fairness to individuals. Brian became an attorney to help level the playing field for those individuals who are up against unequal forces. He is proud to represent those who have been wrongfully injured when somebody else is at fault and is committed to fight to ensure that justice and fairness prevails for those who need it most.

Brian grew up in the St. Louis Metro East Area of Illinois and knows the value of hard work, honesty and integrity. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies from the University of Illinois at Springfield, was an Academic Excellence Award winner while attending Saint Louis University School of Law and is licensed to practice law in both Missouri and Illinois. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends and rooting for the Cardinals and Blues.
